I have been appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer to serve as a Judge in a Michigan District Court.
Accordingly, as of 27 AUG 2025, I cannot further provide legal counsel, act as or give appearances as an attorney.
Under the Michigan Code of Judicial Conduct, I must avoid impropriety and maintain impartiality. This means I am prohibited from further providing legal advice or representation.
The Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct require me to withdraw from the practice of law, and the Michigan Court Rules and statutes reinforce that judges cannot engage in legal practice while serving on the bench.
If you require legal assistance, consult with a licensed Michigan attorney who can review your circumstances and advise you appropriately.
I appreciate your understanding as I fulfill my judicial responsibilities in service to the people.

I am prohibited from continuing to provide legal advice or representation. As I transition fully into judicial service, I will no longer be able to act in any capacity as an attorney.
For those seeking legal assistance, I encourage you to connect with a licensed Michigan attorney through the State Bar of Michigan Lawyer Referral Service.
I deeply appreciate the support of colleagues, mentors, and community as I embrace this privilege to serve the people of Detroit with fairness, integrity, and respect. ⚖
